The Haslemere Musical Society's May Concert is an interesting mix of works with an English theme and links to folklore.

There is a good number of English composers - Eric Coates, Clive Osgood, George Richford, Vaughan Williams and Edward Elgar as well as Australian born Percy Grainger.   

The main work is Elgar's The Black Knight. This programme is guaranteed to please and charm.
