Do you play a musical instrument or enjoy singing?
Would you like the opportunity to join in a few one-off sight-reading sessions of some fantastic classical works with a local group of friendly fellow musicians?
Then come and join Haslemere Musical Society for our well-established ‘Summer Sessions’ on Monday evenings (7:30-10pm) in June. We choose music to entertain and challenge and in many cases the pieces will subsequently make it onto our concert programmes. All singers/players are welcome and these sessions are open to all. Advance booking is not essential but it would be helpful if you are able to let us know in advance that you are coming to a Session.
Details of our June 2026 programme:
There are three orchestral sessions:Mon 8th June – Haydn Symphony No. 103 and Beethoven Romance in G for violin
Mon 15th June – Schumann Symphony No. 4
Mon 22nd June - Bizet Symphony No. 1
All of our Summer Sessions take place in St Christopher's Church (Christopher's Green, GU27 1DD)
We make a small charge for each session to cover the cost of music and venue hire of £10pp. Please bring a stand with you.
