We will be holding our next Summer Sessions in June 2024 and details will follow nearer the time.
By way of example, in June 2023, the chorus tackled Rutter's Magnificat, and the orchestra worked on a number of pieces including Dvorak's Symphony no. 5 and Beethoven's Symphony no. 7.
Do you play a musical instrument or enjoy singing?
Would you like the opportunity to join in a few one-off sight-reading sessions of some fantastic classical works with a local group of friendly fellow musicians?
Then come and join Haslemere Musical Society for our well-established ‘Summer Sessions’ on Monday evenings (7:30-10pm) in June. We choose music to entertain and challenge and in many cases the pieces will subsequently make it onto our concert programmes. All are welcome, whether members of the Society or not.
We normally make a small charge for each session to cover the cost of music and venue hire.
All singers/players are welcome and these sessions are open to all. Advance booking is not essential but it would be helpful if you are able to let us know in advance that you are coming to a Session.
